Display DC voltage or current from power supplies, batteries and other DC sources with 0.01% full scale accuracy. Options include analog outputs, relay outputs, and serial communications.

• DC voltmeter ranges from ±20.000 mV to ±300.0 V, resolution to 1 µV.
• DC ammeter ranges from ±2.0000 mA to ±5.000 A, resolution to 0.1 µA.

Accurately monitor AC or true RMS voltage or current, AC line frequency, or phase angle. Options include analog outputs, relay outputs, and serial communications.

Accurately display readings in scaled engineering units such as PSI, GPM, L/sec, or LBS from process transducers whose output may be a DC signal such as 4-20 mA or 0-10 V, a pulsed / AC signal, or a changing resistance. Capabilities include custom curve linearization, square root extraction, rate from successive readings, and totalizing from rate signals. Transducer excitation output is standard on most models. Analog outputs, relay outputs, and data I/O options add functionality.

• Process meter for analog signals such as 0-1 mA, 4-20 mA, 0-10 V.
• Process totalizer & meter for analog signals such as 0-1 mA, 4-20 mA, 0-10 V.
• Strain gauge & potentiometer follower meter for signals which are a changing resistance.

• Loop-powered process meter.  Powered directly current loop, with no need for external power.

Accurately display flow rate or flow volume from flow transducers with a pulse or analog output. Read out flow or total to 5 or 6 digits in engineering units such as Gallons, GPM, or L/sec. Available features include square root extraction and custom curve linearization.

• Dual-channel Pulse input rate meter and totalizer.  Display flow rate or flow total (volume), add or subtract two flows for net flow or net volume, or compute the ratio of two flows to control mixing operations.
• Analog input rate meter and totalizer.  Accept 0-1 mA, 4-20 mA or 0-10 V analog signal from a linear or differential pressure flow transducer to display flow rate or flow total (volume).
• Pulse input batch controller.  Control repeated fill operations using the pulse signal from a turbine flowmeter.
• Analog input batch controller.  Control repeated fill operations using the 0-1 mA, 4-20 mA or 0-10 V analog signal from a linear or differential pressure flow transducer.
• Large digit displays.  Analog input process meters, pulse input rate meters, and pulse input totalizers with 2.2" (57 mm) to 7.9" (200 mm) high digits.

The transducers may be strain gauge elements which require bridge excitation, zero and span adjustment, high sensitivity, and multiple noise filtering modes. The transducers may also output a conditioned 4-20 mA or 0-10 V signal, which can be accepted by a Laurel process meter. Meter capabilities include high read rate to 60/sec, peak hold, custom curve linearization, and rate from successive readings. Analog outputs, relay outputs, and data I/O options add functionality.

• Load cell meter.  Powers up to four 350-ohm bridges in parallel in 4 or 6-wire connection. Five-digit display, sensitivity to ±20 mV full scale.
• Strain meter.  Powers up to four 350-ohm bridges in parallel in 4-wire connection. Five-digit display, sensitivity to ±200 mV full scale.
• Process meter.  Five-digit display for conditioned signals such as 0-1 mA, 4-20 mA or 0-10 V.
• Scale / weight meter.  Special firmware for weighing applications. Features include display to 999,990, auto-zero, auto-tare or manual tare, and display toggle between gross or net weight.
• Large digit displays.  For strain gauges and load cells. Digit heights 2.2" (57 mm) to 7.9" (200 mm).

Display frequency, rate or RPM to six figure accuracy based on pulse signals at exceptionally fast update rates. Display rates to 0.01% accuracy based on an analog signal or a changing resistance. Features include square root extraction and custom curve linearization.

• Dual-channel frequency meter.  Display frequency in Hz to six-figure accuracy from 0.05 Hz to 1 MHz.
• Dual-channel pulse input rate meter.  Display rate or totalized rate, add or subtracts two rates or totals, or computes the ratio of two rates or totals.
• Analog input rate meter.  Display rate in engineering units from a 0-1 mA, 4-20 mA or 0-10 V analog signal.
• Quadrature meter. Display speed or position based on quadrature signals.
• Potentiometer follower meter. Display speed or position based on the changing resistance of a linear displacement transducer.
• Large digit displays.  Available for pulse input or process signals. Digit heights 2.2" (57 mm) to 7.9" (200 mm).

Digital temperature meter / pyrometer / controller for all popular thermocouple types plus DIN or ANSI 100-ohm RTDs in the same meter. The thermocouple or RTD type, resolution (1° or 0.1°), and unit of measure (°F or °C) are user-selectable. Options include analog outputs, relay outputs, and serial communications.

Count discrete pulses, totalize pulse signals scaled to engineering units (e.g., volume in gallons from a turbine flow meter), or totalize analog process signals. Count up to a setpoint or down from a setpoint. Display rate or total using the same meter. With two pulse inputs, add or subtract two totals, or take the ratio of two totals.

• Dual-channel frequency meter.  Display frequency in Hz to six-figure accuracy from 0.05 Hz to 1 MHz.
• Dual-channel pulse input totalizer.  Display totals (such as flow volume) or flow rate, add or subtracts two totals or rates, or compute the ratio of two totals or rates.
• Process signal totalizer.  Display totals in engineering units from a 0-1 mA, 4-20 mA or 0-10 V analog signal.
• Quadrature meter. Display speed or position based on quadrature signals.
• Large digit displays.  Available for pulse input or process signals. Digit heights from 2.2" (57 mm) to 7.9" (200 mm).

Time single events in stopwatch mode, periodic events in time interval mode, duty cycle in percent, or time of day.

• Stopwatch meter.  For single events from less than 1 µs to 999,999 hours. Timing resolution to 0.2 µs.
• Time interval meter.  For periodic events from 1 µs to 199.99 s. Timing resolution to 0.2 µs.
• Duty cycle meter.  Displays ON or OFF period as a percentage of total period.
• Large digit timers and clocks.  Display in MM:SS, HH:MM, or HH:MM:SS.Digit with digit heights from 2.2" (57 mm) to 7.9" (200 mm).

Linear displacement or speed scaled to engineering units can be displayed by quadrature meters which accept A & B signals from shaft encoders, by dual dual-channel up / down totalizers which accept pulse inputs for position plus control signals for count inhibit or count direction, or by potentiometer follower meters where position is indicated by a changing resistance.

• Quadrature meter.  Display position, angle or rate based on shaft encoder / quadrature encoder signals. 
• Pulse totalizer / rate meter.  Display position or rate based on pulse counts. A special channel inhibit counts or changes count direction for dynamic up / down totalizing.
• Linear Displacement transducer meters.  Display position or rate from the signal of a sliding contact voltage divider.

11.  Controlling Mixing Using Ratio, Draw, Sums or Differences

Dual-channel pulse input rate meter & totalizer.  Display ratio (ChA / ChB) to control mixing or to adjust RPM or speed. Display draw (ChA / ChB - 1) to control elongation of material between rollers. Add or subtract flow rates to control mixing or to display net flow. Add or subtract totals to display net volume. Analog outputs, relay outputs, and data I/O options add functionality.

Displays driven by the RS-232 or RS-485 output of a computer, PLC, or instrument. The displays can be located in the same panel as the data source, or be remote for plant-wide viewing.

• 6-digit, 1/8 DIN remote displays.  Up to 31 remotes can be addressed on the same serial data line, with an optional analog output and relays tied to the reading for alarm or control.
• 5 or 7-digit large digit displays.  Digit heights from 2.2" (57 mm) to 7.9" (200 mm) for viewing across a plant floor or outside yard. Also available for analog or pulse signals. Choice of brightness and housings for indoor or outdoor viewing.

Data logging software can turn a PC connected to up to 31 Laureate instruments into a powerful, low-cost datalogging system. The Laureates can be any mix of digital panel meters, counters and timers. Data can also be displayed on a computer screen in the form of up to 64 virtual panel meters.
