Model IPC Splashproof Cover adds protection to IP67 / NEMA-4X from the front panel. It fits all of Laurel's 1/8 DIN instruments as well as 1/8 DIN instruments by other manufacturers, provided that instrument dimensions in front of the panel do not exceed 48 x 96 x 15 mm (1.89" x 3.78" x 0.59"). It can be fitted to existing installations, or be purchased as an add-on option for new instruments.

Model IPC is easy to install. It utilizes the existing 1/8 DIN panel cutout (45 x 92 mm). No new panel holes are required. The holding frame is held in place by the instrument itself. The transparent cover is easily removable, for example to provide access to front panel controls. It is secured by two knurled captive screws.

Model IPC is rugged for plant environments. The window and holding frame are molded from high impact polycarbonate. The female threaded nut sections are corrosion-resistant marine brass, and are molded deep into the frame itself. Resilient neoprene gaskets are firmly bonded to the inner and outer faces of the frame. The transparent cover has a special anti-scratch coating to assure clear viewing even after years of use.
