SMPT Port | |
Email Setup: |
The SMTP
port number identifies the type of outgoing email port. Normally
leave the number at 25, which is the standard for
sending email via SMTP. Since port is also often used for sending spam, Internet Service Providers may block it. If blocked, try Port
2525
or Port 587. Press GO to the right of the PPO3 and SMTP data entry fields to enter any changes. Background: An email account can be set up for each Node. This allows the Node to send data readings at periodic intervals, when devices on a Node encounter an alarm condition or go on- or off-line, or in response to email requests. |
