Laurel Electronics LTE Transmitter Part Number LTE20RMA1 AC RMS Current Input Ethernet Transmitter, 2.0000 mA Range, 4-20 mA Analog and Ethernet Outputs, Dual 120 mA Relays, 85-264 Vac Power
LTE Transmitter Part Number LTE20RMA1 by Laurel Electronics is a programmable AC RMS current input transmitter with an AC rms signal conditioner set to the 0 to 2.0000 mA range. Standard features include a user scalable 4-20 mA, 0-10V or +/-10V analog output, Ethernet data I/O, and two 120 mA solid state relays. Five voltage ranges from 200.00 mV to 600.0V and four current ranges from +/-2.0000 mA to +/-5.000A are jumper selectable. All signal ranges are factory calibrated with calibration factors stored in EEPROM on the signal conditioner board. This allows ranges and signal conditioner boards and ranges to be changed in the field without recalibrating the transmitter. This transmitter can measure true RMS voltage or current of AC signals where there is considerable distortion of the waveform. Accuracy is 0.1% of full scale for signals from DC to 10 kHz, signal amplitudes down to 0.1% of full scale, and a crest factor up to 3.0. Fast True RMS readings in 0-16 ms after completion of one input signal cycle allow anomalies to be detected and alarmed before they become expensive problems. Fast on/off control and alarm can be achieved with the built-in dual solid state relays. The transmitter can also capture peak and valley readings. AC or DC coupling is jumper selectable. Custom scaling and the 200 mV range make the transmitter ideal for use with current shunts. Coupling can be AC or DC. The Modbus protocol is fully supported as is the simpler Custom ASCII protocol. Power and all inputs and outputs are mutually isolated. The transmitter snaps onto a 35 mm DIN rail and is only 22.5 mm (0.89 inch) thick. It is certified to CE, RoHS, and ETL / UL standards.
