Yes or No to indicate whether or not the GMT Offset should be
automatically corrected for daylight saving time. This causes the
local clock to be adjusted forward one hour in spring and backward
one hour in autumn. Our software only applies the daylight saving
time correction, if selected, to the first six Time Zone selections,
not to "Other".
Press GO to enter any change. Background: A time stamp is included in email messages and in streaming data sent by the Node. If the Node has a path to the Internet (also required for email), the Node will automatically obtain accurate UTC/GMT time (Coordinated Universal Time or Greenwich Mean Time) from an online NTP time server. The Node’s time zone, daylight saving time status, and the offset from UTC/GMT time are supplied using this screen. |
