Use the
pull-down selections to change the color assignments of two
indicator LEDs. Changing the color assignments may be used as a
temporary diagnostic to identify a specific Node from its light
pattern.
Background: Each of our Nodes is equipped with an Ethernet
RJ45 jack, which is equipped with two LED indicator lights. Normal
operation is a follows:
|
 |
 |
Following power-up, the
green and amber LEDs are on steady until an IP address
has been assigned to the Node.
|
 |
Once an IP address has been
assigned to the Node and the Node has made a TCP
connection with our Node Manager Software, the green LED
alternates on (1 sec) and off (1 sec), while the amber
LED is on steady.
|
 |
During normal network
operation, the green LED is on steady while the amber
LED flashes as it receives or sends data. |
