Help Overview |
Use the
Change Node Name field to enter a descriptive name for the Node,
such as "Pressure Monitor". If a custom entry is not made, the
assigned default name is in the format "Node 00:20:C5:D4:40:72",
where the word "Node" is followed by the MAC address. Background: A Node can be the Ethernet interface board in a panel meter or counter for that device only, an Ethernet-to-serial device server board in a panel meter or counter which which can be interfaced to up 30 devices on an RS485 bus plus the host device, or a DIN-rail mounted Ethernet-to-serial device server which can be interfaced to up 31 devices on an RS485 bus (meters, counters and transmitters). |
