Panel Meters Model L20000KF by Laurel Electronics is a thermocouple meter which includes a thermocouple signal conditioner set for Type K, -408 to 2501°F, universal 85-264 Vac or 95-300 Vdc power, and five red 14.2 mm (0.56 inch) LED digits. The meter is factory calibrated for type J, K, T, E, N, R and S thermocouples for exceptional accuracy and repeatability. The entire span of each thermocouple type is presented in a single range. The thermocouple type, unit of measure (°C or °F), resolution (1° or 0.1°), and upscale or downscale open sensor indication are selectable from the front panel or via an optional serial interface. All ranges for all temperature sensor types are digitally calibrated at the factory, with calibration factors stored in an EEPROM on the signal conditioner board. This allows signal conditioner boards to be changed in the field without recalibrating the meter. High read rates at up to 60 or 50 conversions per second are ideal for peak or valley capture, real-time computer interface, and control. Peak and valley values are automatically captured. Digital filtering is selectable for electrically noisy environments. Modular architecture provides a choice of power supply boards, relay boards for alarm or control, analog output boards, and communication boards. Available communication boards include RS232, RS485, USB and Ethernet. The Modbus protocol is fully supported as is the simpler Custom ASCII protocol. Power and all inputs and outputs are mutually isolated. The meter fits in a 1/8 DIN panel cutout (92 x 45 mm) and is protected to NEMA 4X (IP65) when panel mounted. It is certified to CE, RoHS, and ETL / UL standards.
