Digital Panel Meters Part Number L70021FR by Laurel Electronics is an Extended programmable digital counter which includes a dual channel puse input signal conditioner, universal 85-264 Vac or 95-300 Vdc power, two 4-20 mA or 0-10V analog outputs, and six green 14.2 mm (0.56 inch) LED digits, Extended capabilities. Each channel can be individually programmed to display frequency from 0.005 Hz to 1 MHz, rate in engineering units, raw or scaled totals, or process times from 1 µs to 999999 hours. Frequency is determined with quartz crystal accuracy by timing an integral number of periods over a specified gate time, and then taking the inverse of period. AC line frequency may be accurately measured to 50.0000 or 60.0000 Hz in a few line cycles. Fast response is ideal for alarm and control applications. Extended capabilities include rate and total simultaneously, dynamic up-down counting, arithmetic functions applicable to channels A & B (A+B, A-B, A/B, AxB, A/B-1), phase angle, power factor, duty cycle, batch control, and custom curve linearization. The FR dual-channel signal conditioner board accepts inputs from proximity switches with PNP or NPN output, TTL or CMOS logic, magnetic pickups, contact closures, and other signals from 12 mV to 250 Vac. A built-in isolated 5, 10, or 24 Vdc excitation supply can power proximity switches and other sensors. Modular architecture provides a choice of power supply boards, relay boards for alarm or control, analog output boards, and communication boards. Available communication boards include RS232, RS485, USB and Ethernet. The Modbus protocol is fully supported as is the simpler Custom ASCII protocol. Power and all inputs and outputs are mutually isolated. The meter fits in a 1/8 DIN panel cutout (92 x 45 mm) and is protected to NEMA 4X (IP65) when panel mounted. It is certified to CE, RoHS, and ETL / UL standards.
